White Ribbon New Designers Fashion Show

Jill & Jack Design presents the "Anthology of Treasures" collection at the 2nd Chic Petite Events White Ribbon Foundation of Australia charity fashion parade. The collection has been developed from treasures collected from various places over the years, a bag of beads here, a remnant of fabric there. Anthology of Treasures grows from individual pieces laid together to create a most wonderful concoction of visually mesmerising designs. Beautiful silks, laces and organzas are teamed with beading, embroidery and pleating techniques to culminate in a visual feast of design detail. The show closes with a spectacular Jill & Jack Design silk and organza wedding gown.

Chic Petite Events presents a fashion parade for up and coming Australian Designers to raise money for the White Ribbon Foundation of Australia who aims to eliminate violence against women by promoting culture change around the issue. Jill & Jack Design is one of 8 designers supporting the Foundation through this event.

Jill & Jack Design returns for the second year to show 2 collections at the Cotton Cup Races. 'Alchemy' is a breathtaking combination of colours, prints and fabrics with hints of a metallic patina scattered throughout. Inspired by the film of the same name the 'My Fair Lady' collection creates a feminine look by juxtaposing soft fabrics, ruffles and layers with structured silhouettes and waistline definition. The metamorphosis of beauty and elegance is reflected in the colour palette of black, white, silver and grey, dusted with pink.

Originally from Warren, Jill McKay returns to her hometown to show a collection of Jill & Jack Design evening and cocktail dresses at the annual Cotton Cup Races. Showing alongside local fashion businesses, Jill & Jack Design will close the parade with a made-to-measure wedding gown.
